Indiana Code Title 8. Utilities and Transportation § 8-1-31.6-4

Sec. 4. As used in this chapter, “water utility” means:

(1) a public utility (as defined in IC 8-1-2-1(a)); or

(2) a municipally owned utility (as defined in IC 8-1-2-1(h));

that provides water service to the public, and that is under the commission's authority with respect to rates and charges.
