Indiana Code Title 7.1. Alcohol and Tobacco § 7.1-5-5-10

Sec. 10. (a) Except as provided in subsections (b) and (c), it is unlawful for a person who holds a retailer's or dealer's permit of any type to receive or accept a gift from a manufacturer of alcoholic beverages or from a permittee authorized to sell and deliver alcoholic beverages.

(b) A person who holds a retailer's or dealer's permit may receive or accept entertainment and professional and educational expenses from a manufacturer of alcoholic beverages or from a permittee authorized to sell and deliver alcoholic beverages, unless the entertainment or professional and educational expenses are provided in exchange for an agreement by the holder of the retailer's or dealer's permit to directly or indirectly purchase alcoholic beverages from a:

to the exclusion, in whole or in part, of alcoholic beverages sold or delivered by another manufacturer or a permittee authorized to sell and deliver alcoholic beverages.

(c) As used in this subsection, “permittee” means a person listed in IC 7.1-3-6.1-5(1).  A qualified organization that holds a retailer's or dealer's permit may receive or accept donations of alcoholic beverages from a permittee for any event conducted by the qualified organization in compliance with:

(d) A person who knowingly or intentionally violates this section commits a Class A misdemeanor.
