Sec. 13. (a) The treasurer shall redeem county warrants in the order in which they are presented.
(b) The treasurer may receive county warrants in payment of county taxes without regard to their order of presentment or number, but the treasurer may not pay any balance left owing on the warrants after payment of the taxes if there are outstanding unpaid warrants.
