Sec. 2. As used in this chapter, “battery charged security device” means a security device and integrated components that:
(1) interface with an alarm system in a manner that enables the security device to cause the connected alarm system to transmit a signal intended to alert a monitoring service and the business in response to an intrusion on the property; and
(2) have an energizer driven by a commercial storage battery.
