Indiana Code Title 35. Criminal Law and Procedure § 35-47-2-4

Sec. 4. (a) Licenses to carry handguns issued under section 3 of this chapter are valid for:

(b) There is no fee for a license to carry a handgun.  The superintendent shall charge a twenty dollar ($20) fee for the issuance of a duplicate license to replace a lost or damaged license.  This fee shall be deposited in accordance with subsection (c).

(c) Fees collected under this section shall be deposited in the state general fund.

(d) The superintendent may not issue a lifetime license to a person who is a resident of another state.  The superintendent may issue a five (5) year license to a person who is a resident of another state and who has a regular place of business or employment in Indiana as described in section 3(a)(2) of this chapter.

(e) A person who knowingly or intentionally violates this section commits a Class B misdemeanor.
