Sec. 16. (a) The central repository or a local repository:
(1) that receives prescription drugs or supplies may transfer the prescription drugs or supplies to:
(A) the central repository or a local repository for use in the program; or
(B) a central repository or local repository located in another state; and
(2) may receive prescription drugs or supplies from a central repository or local repository located in another state.
(b) The Indiana department of health may receive prescription drugs or supplies directly from a prescription drug donation repository contractor and may distribute the prescription drugs and supplies through practitioners licensed to dispense prescription drugs and supplies to an eligible recipient.
(c) The Indiana department of health may receive and distribute the prescription drugs or supplies under this section during or in preparation for a state of disaster emergency proclaimed by the governor or during or in preparation for a public health emergency.
