Sec. 17. (a) This section applies to an administrator in training or a student intern seeking licensure as a health facility administrator.
(b) An administrator in training or student intern may take a specialized course that:
(1) is approved by the board as described in section 18 of this chapter;
(2) includes instruction and training on:
(A) standards of competent practice;
(B) facility administration and management;
(C) housekeeping and laundry;
(D) nursing;
(E) dietary needs of residents;
(F) facility related activities;
(G) business office management; and
(H) facility admission and marketing; and
(3) may include instruction and training on other subjects.
