Sec. 4. (a) As used in this article, “health care personnel” means the following:
(1) A nurse aide (as defined in IC 16-28-13-1).
(2) A registered nurse or licensed practical nurse licensed under IC 25-23.
(3) An advanced practice registered nurse licensed under IC 25-23.
(4) A qualified medication aide certified under IC 16-27.5-4.
(5) A home health aide.
(6) A physician assistant licensed under IC 25-27.5.
(7) Except as provided in subsection (b), any other individual licensed or authorized by the state to provide health care or professional services to residents or patients of a health care facility.
(b) The term does not include a physician licensed under IC 25-22.5.
