Sec. 1. The governor, state comptroller, and director may, on behalf of and in the name of the state, transfer and convey to the Tippecanoe County park and recreational board, Tippecanoe County, Indiana, all rights, title, and interest of the state, including maintenance and operating equipment, in the Tippecanoe Battle Ground Memorial at Battle Ground, Indiana. The grantee shall act as the agent of the general assembly in the performance of the general assembly's constitutional duty to preserve the Tippecanoe Battle Ground.
