§ 45. Advisory notice from Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. Before September 30 of each year, the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, with the cooperation of the Department of Employment Security, must issue a written notice to each employer that reported to the Department of Employment Security that the employer paid wages to 75 or more individuals with respect to any quarter in the immediately preceding calendar year. The notice must indicate that the employer may be subject to this Act and must generally advise the employer about the requirements of this Act and the remedies provided for violations of this Act.
