Illinois Statutes Chapter 815. Business Transactions § 140/3. Reasons for rejection of credit card application

§ 3. In every case where an applicant for a credit card is rejected by a credit card issuer, the applicant, upon request, shall be informed of the reasons for such rejection. Failure to comply with this section is a civil rights violation under Section 4-103 of the Illinois Human Rights Act.  1
