§ 1a. No person may be denied a credit card, upon proper application therefor, solely on account of unlawful discrimination, as defined and prohibited in Section 4-103 of the Illinois Human Rights Act. 1 No question requesting any information concerning an applicant's marital status shall appear on any credit card application except in connection with an application for a joint account.
