§ 11-107. Transition Provisions as to Priorities. Except as otherwise provided in Article 11, the Uniform Commercial Code, approved July 31, 1961, as amended, shall apply to any questions of priority if the positions of the parties were fixed prior to July 1, 1973. In other cases questions of priority shall be determined by this amendatory Act of 1972.
