§ 2. Any person desiring to secure the benefits of this act shall within 6 months after the shoeing of such horse, mule, ox or other animal, file with the recorder in the county in which such animal is, a claim for lien in writing and under oath, setting forth therein his intention to claim a lien upon such animal for his charges, for shoeing the same.
