§ 19. Registration new birth certificate. Upon the entry of a judgment of adoption, the clerk of the court that entered the judgment shall prepare a certificate of adoption and send the certificate to the Department of Public Health, pursuant to Sections 16 and 17 of the Vital Records Act. 1 The statutory fee of the clerk of the court for that certificate shall be paid by the petitioners.
Nothing in this Act shall be construed to prohibit the amendment of a birth certificate in accordance with subsection (6) of Section 22 of the Vital Records Act. 2
