§ 18.7. Illinois Adoption Registry and Medical Information Exchange Fund. There is created in the State treasury a special fund to be known as the Illinois Adoption Registry and Medical Information Exchange Fund. All fees collected by the Illinois Adoption Registry under this amendatory Act of 1999 shall be deposited into the Fund. Subject to appropriation, the amounts in the Fund shall be used by the Department of Public Health to conduct activities related to maintaining the Illinois Adoption Registry and Medical Information Exchange and issuing any documents and forms related to the Illinois Adoption Registry and Medical Information Exchange.
