§ 816. Notice to the clerk of the circuit court of payment received by Department of Healthcare and Family Services. For those cases in which support is payable to the clerk of the circuit court for transmittal to the Department of Healthcare and Family Services by order of court, and the Department of Healthcare and Family Services collects support by assignment, offset, withhold, deduction, or other process permitted by law, the Department of Healthcare and Family Services shall notify the clerk of the circuit court of the date and amount of the collection. Upon notification, the clerk of the circuit court shall record the collection on the payment record for the case.
