Illinois Statutes Chapter 75. Libraries § 40/1. Establishment; donations

§ 1. The board of trustees of any village shall have authority to establish and maintain a free, public library therein in any premises which may be available or which may be donated to such village for library purposes. The board may accept donations of such physical equipment as is suitable to the maintenance of a free, public library.
