§ 25-7-103.17. Quick-take; industrial harbour port. Quick-take proceedings under Article 20 may be used for a period of 2 years after July 1, 1990, by a home rule municipality and a county board, upon approval of a majority of the corporate authorities of both the county board and the municipality, within an area designated as an enterprise zone by the municipality and the county board through an intergovernmental agreement under the Illinois Enterprise Zone Act, when the purpose of the condemnation proceeding is to acquire land for the construction of an industrial harbor port, and when the total amount of land to be acquired for that purpose is less than 75 acres and is adjacent to the Illinois River.
