Illinois Statutes Chapter 730. Corrections § 135/5. Notification prior to visitation; presence of Director's representative; report to Director

§ 5. The Department of Public Health shall notify, at least 5 days prior to any intended examining visitation, the chairman of the Penal Subcommittee of the Committee to Visit and Examine State Institutions.

Inspections shall be made in the company of a designated representative of the Director of Corrections.

The report required by Section 3 of this Act shall be submitted only to the Director of Corrections, and shall be so submitted within 30 days of the completion of the examining visitation.
