§ 3-16. Petition to Add Lands to Proposed District. Any person owning land adjoining the proposed district may, at any time at least 10 days prior to the hearing on the report of the temporary commissioners, petition the court to have such land included in the proposed district. Such petitioner shall give the temporary commissioners at least 10 days' notice in writing of the hearing on the petition, which notice shall include a description of the land sought to be included and the name and address of the petitioner. The petition shall be heard at the same time as the report of the temporary commissioners.
