Illinois Statutes Chapter 70. Special Districts § 2205/29. Dissolution of sanitary district by referendum; creation of new district

§ 29. Any sanitary district organized and operated under this Act and having an equalized assessed valuation for tax purposes of $100,000,000 or more may, by referendum as provided in Sections 29.1 through 29.3, be dissolved and a new district created in accordance with the “Metro-East Sanitary District Act of 1974”, enacted by the 78th General Assembly.  1
