§ 29.3. The State Board of Elections shall proclaim and certify the results of the vote on the proposition. If a majority of those electors properly marking ballots on the proposition vote in favor thereof, the district organized under this Act shall be dissolved, effective upon the expiration of the terms of office of the incumbent trustees, and a new district created as provided in Article I of the Metro-East Sanitary District Act of 1974. 1
