Illinois Statutes Chapter 70. Special Districts § 210/3. Authority created; suits in corporate name; executions not to issue; seal; office location

§ 3. There is hereby created a political subdivision, unit of local government with only those powers authorized by law, body politic and municipal corporation by the name and style of Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority in the metropolitan area.

The Authority may sue and be sued in its corporate name but execution shall not in any case issue against any real property of the Authority. It may adopt a common seal and change the same at pleasure. The principal office of the Authority shall be in the City of Chicago.
