Illinois Statutes Chapter 70. Special Districts § 2005/5. Organization of district

§ 5. If a majority of the votes cast on the question are in favor of the organization of the territory as an emergency services district, the territory shall be an organized emergency services district under this Act. The district shall have the name set forth in the petition and by such name may transact all corporate business. The name of a rescue squad district may be modified under Section 2.5. The district shall constitute a body corporate and politic. All courts of this State shall take judicial notice of the organization of the emergency services district.
