§ 23. Contractor's insurance. Any contract let for the construction, repair, alteration, or improvement of any building or buildings, the demolition thereof, or removal of debris resulting therefrom, or any other contract let for any other type of construction or repair work, shall contain provisions requiring the contractor or other person, firm or corporation undertaking such work to give bond in such amount and with such surety, conditioned for the faithful performance of the contract as the Board of Commissioners may determine. The Board of Commissioners shall also require such contractor or other person, firm or corporation to furnish insurance of a character and amount to be determined by the Board of Commissioners, protecting the Authority, its Commissioners, officers, agents, and employees, and the railroads using the terminal and Terminal Facilities, their officers, agents and employees against any claims for personal injuries (including death) and property damage that may be asserted because of the doing of the work.
