Illinois Statutes Chapter 70. Special Districts § 1545/15. City employees receiving disability benefits; disposition

§ 15. Persons classified in the civil service of the city in positions pertaining to the management, maintenance, supervision and operation of the parks and playgrounds transferred by this Act to the park district who on the effective date are receiving disability benefits under an annuity and benefit fund maintained by the city shall, upon termination of their disability, unless they are then employed by the city in another capacity, be transferred to the employment of the park district in accordance with the provisions of Section 5, but shall remain members of the fund maintained by the city for such employees.
