Illinois Statutes Chapter 70. Special Districts § 1510/15. Application of other laws

§ 15. The powers conferred by the Project Sections are in addition and supplemental to, and the limitations imposed by the Project Sections shall not affect, the powers conferred by any other law. Projects may be acquired, purchased, constructed, reconstructed, improved, bettered and extended, and bonds may be issued under the Project Sections for such purposes, notwithstanding that any other law may provide for the acquisition, purchase, construction, reconstruction, betterment and extension of a like project, or the issuance of bonds for like purposes, and without regard to the requirements, restrictions, limitations or other provisions contained in any other law.
