§ 9-3-27. Within 20 days after the contract is awarded, the contractor shall enter into a contract with such municipality for the construction of the improvement and shall give bond in the full amount of the contract for the faithful performance of the contract. The contract and bond shall be submitted to and approved by the committee on local improvements and filed in the office of the clerk.
