Illinois Statutes Chapter 65. Municipalities § 5/4-5-9. Removal of officers and employees

§ 4-5-9. Except as otherwise provided in this article or by law, any officer or employee who has been elected or appointed by the council in accordance with the provisions of this article may be removed from office at any time by a vote of a majority of the council members.
