§ 11-39.1-1. Each municipality may receive funds from the United States Government under the “Housing and Community Development Act of 1974”, Public Law 93-383, 1 and may disburse those funds and other municipal funds for the community development program activities specified in Section 105 of that Act. 2 The powers granted by this Section are in addition to powers otherwise possessed by a municipality and shall not be construed as a limitation of such other powers.
The provisions of this Section are not a limitation on the powers of a home rule municipality.
