Illinois Statutes Chapter 65. Municipalities § 5/11-126-2. Borrowing of money; tax levy

§ 11-126-2. Each municipality may borrow money and levy and collect a general tax, in the same manner as other municipal taxes may be levied and collected, for the construction and maintenance of such a system of waterworks, and may appropriate money for that construction and maintenance.
