§ 11-111-4. Any municipality, issuing bonds under Sections 11-111-1 through 11-111-7, shall provide by ordinance for the collection of an amount sufficient to pay the interest and principal of these bonds from the property charged with the special assessment or special tax. The special assessment or special tax shall be placed upon the tax books for collection, and treated in the same manner, and have the same effect as special assessments or special taxes have under Article 9. The municipality shall not be liable for the payment of the interest or principal of any of these bonds except (1) for their payment out of the special fund of the improvement district to which the bonds apply, and (2) for the faithful enforcement of the ordinances that provide for the collection of an amount sufficient to pay the interest and principal of these bonds.
