§ 11-103-1. Every municipality having a population of less than 500,000 may acquire, own, construct, manage, maintain, and operate, within or outside the corporate limits of the municipality, airports and landing fields, together with all land, appurtenances, and easements, required therefor or deemed necessary and useful in connection therewith and in accordance with the purposes expressed in this section, including structures of all kinds.
