Illinois Statutes Chapter 625. Vehicles § 5/3-503. Transfers to dealers

§ 3-503. Transfers to dealers. When the transferee of a vehicle is a dealer who holds the same for resale and lawfully operates the same under dealers' number plates or when the transferee does not drive such vehicle or permit it to be driven upon the highways, such transferee shall not be required to obtain a new registration of said vehicle.
