§ 15-201. Vehicles exceeding prescribed weight limits--Preventing use of highway by. The Illinois State Police is directed to institute and maintain a program designed to prevent the use of public highways by vehicles which exceed the maximum weights allowed by Section 15-111 of this Act or which exceeds the maximum weights allowed as evidenced by the license plates attached to such vehicle and which license is required by this Act.
