§ 3-7. Loss of certificate; certificate correction. Should a certificate of number or registration expiration decal become lost, destroyed, or mutilated beyond legibility, or if information required by the Department to be included on the certificate has changed, the owner of the watercraft shall make application to the Department for the replacement of the certificate or decal or for a corrected certificate or decal, giving his name, address, and the number of his boat and shall at the time of application pay to the Department a fee of $5.
