§ 1. Every official or employee of an office of the Coordination Council for North American Affairs located in Illinois shall have the same rights, privileges and immunities enjoyed by officials and employees of any office of the Republic of China on Taiwan located in Illinois prior to January 1, 1979, including applying for and displaying special Illinois registration plates, registration stickers and cards as provided in Section 3-615 of the Illinois Vehicle Code. 1
