§ 6-411. Pecuniary interest in leases. In townships with a population of less than 15,000, with the approval of the town board of trustees or the highway board of auditors, as the case may be, a highway commissioner may have a pecuniary interest in lease contracts if the aggregate total of those contracts is less than $2,000 in the same fiscal year.
