§ 4-201.16. Land acquired for highway purposes, including buildings or improvements upon such property, may be rented between the time of acquisition and the time when the land is needed for highway purposes.
The Department shall file an annual report with the General Assembly, by October 1 of each year, which details, by county, the number of rented parcels, the total amount of rent received from these parcels, and the number of parcels which include buildings or improvements.
The requirement for reporting to the General Assembly shall be satisfied by filing copies of the report as required by Section 3.1 of the General Assembly Organization Act, 1 and filing such additional copies with the State Government Report Distribution Center for the General Assembly as is required under paragraph (t) of Section 7 of the State Library Act. 2
