Illinois Statutes Chapter 605. Roads and Bridges § 5/10-807. Compelling performance of duties; receivership

§ 10-807. The holder of any bond or interest coupon may, by mandamus, injunction, civil action or proceeding, enforce and compel performance of all duties of the issuing municipality as required by this Division of this Article and the ordinance authorizing the issuance of the bonds, including the duties of fixing sufficient tolls and charges and the collection, segregation, and application of the revenue derived from the operation of the bridge. In case of default, a receiver may be appointed by a judge of the circuit court to take possession of, operate, and maintain the bridge, charge and collect tolls, and segregate and apply the money received in accordance with the ordinance relating thereto.
