§ 35. Signs. Adopt-A-Highway signs shall be uniform Statewide in terms of shape, color, text, and location. The Illinois Department of Transportation shall develop and announce standards for Adopt-A-Highway signs within 90 days of the effective date of this Act. Nothing in this Act shall prohibit the sponsoring jurisdiction and the Illinois Department of Transportation from working cooperatively to carry out the intent of the Adopt-A-Highway Program.
