§ 30-117. Special services; disaster relief. The corporate authorities of a township may, by ordinance, authorize the use of permanent road funds, general road and bridge funds, or town funds for the purpose of collecting, transporting, and disposing of brush and leaves generated from those properties that are contiguous to roads as defined by Section 2-103 of the Illinois Highway Code or located within the unincorporated areas of the township.
The electors may allow general road and bridge or town funds to also be used for the purpose of providing disaster relief and support services approved by the Township Board of Trustees at a regularly scheduled or special meeting.
