§ 6-32005. Establishment of Fund. The county board may, by a majority vote of all of its members, establish an Emergency Disaster Fund (“the Fund”) for the county. Moneys may be appropriated from the county's general revenues to the Fund in the county's annual budget or annual appropriation bill. Interest earned from the investment of moneys in the Fund may be transferred to the county's general fund. Moneys held in the Fund shall at no time exceed 0.2% of the total equalized assessed valuation of all property in the county subject to taxation by the county.
