§ 3-6029. Completion of collections. Every sheriff leaving his or her office at the expiration of his or her term, and having any judgment or fee bill which he or she may have levied but not collected, or any tax list uncollected, and which he or she is authorized to collect, may proceed and collect the same in the same manner as if his or her term of office had not expired.
