Illinois Statutes Chapter 55. Counties § 5/3-3037. Embalming dead body

§ 3-3037. Embalming dead body. No licensed embalmer or person shall embalm the dead body of any person with, or inject therein, or place thereon any fluid or preparation of any kind before obtaining permission from the coroner where such body is the subject of a coroner's inquest. Any person who shall violate the provision of this Section commits a business offense and shall be fined not exceeding $5,000.
