§ 3-14035. Soliciting or delivering political contributions in public offices forbidden. No person shall in any room or building occupied for the discharge of official duties by any officer or employee in the classified civil service of said county, or named in Section 3-14022, solicit, orally or by written communication, deliver therein or in any other manner, or receive any contribution of money or other thing of value, for any party or political purpose whatever. No officer, agent, clerk or employee in the classified civil service of said county, or named in Section 3-14022, who may have charge or control of any building, office or room occupied for any purpose of said government, shall permit any person to enter the same for the purpose of therein soliciting or delivering written solicitations for, or receiving or giving notice of any political assessments.
