§ 45. Duration of program; termination. A wheat development program established under this Act shall remain in effect for 5 years. Thereafter, the program shall automatically be extended from year to year unless a referendum for continued approval is required by written petition of no less than 5% of the affected producers from across the State. The referendum to determine the continued approval of a wheat development program shall be in accordance with Section 40 of this Act. Continuation or termination shall be determined by the same voting requirements as for adoption of the wheat development program set forth in Section 30.
