§ 10. The sheep and wool production development and marketing program authorized by this Act shall remain in effect for 5 years. Thereafter, the program shall automatically be extended from year to year unless a referendum for continued approval is required by written petition of 400 producers of sheep and/or wool with at least 5 signers of such petition from each of 25 counties. The referendum shall be in accordance with Section 9 of this Act to determine the continued approval of such sheep and wool production development and marketing programs. Continuation or termination shall be determined by the same voting requirements for adoption of the sheep and wool production development and marketing program set forth in Section 7.
