§ 15. A Noxious Weed Control Fund may be established as provided in Section 16 for each Control Authority, without fiscal year limitation, which shall be available for expenses authorized to be paid from such Fund, including the necessary expenses of the Control Authority in carrying out its duties and responsibilities under this Act. The Weed Control Superintendents within the county shall ascertain each year the approximate amount of land within the county infested with noxious weeds, and the location thereof, and transmit such information to the Director and the Control Authority. On the basis of such information the Control Authority shall make payments from the Noxious Weed Control Fund. If a Noxious Weed Control Fund is not established as provided in Section 16, the expenses authorized to be paid from such Fund shall be paid out of any other appropriate general fund of the Control Authority.
